Certified counselors are available to aid your recovery from all types of issues including: depression, alcohol abuse, drug addiction, domestic violence, sexual abuse, crime and more.
Our experienced counselors can assist with marriage counseling, reuniting families, financial counseling and provide additional help as needed. Our staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers and NFCC certified credit counselors.
We accept many types of insurance and offer a sliding fee schedule for those clients without insurance coverage. We are conveniently located at 575 E. Plumb Lane in Reno, just a few blocks from the airport.
These days, many of the calls to our office are because of financial stress. Family Counseling’s division of Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) is also ready to serve.

The Foster Grandparent Program This program places senior volunteers, 55 years and older, in supervised settings within K-12 schools, public agencies, family drug court, juvenile detention, etc. with the goal of helping at-risk children meet academic standards as well as providing positive intergenerational social interaction. This program is part of the federal network of Senior Corps programs and is sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Volunteers must meet certain eligibility requirements and must pass federal and state background checks.
